Extra
Bed: Chargeable at $ 50.00 U.S net per unit (maximum one extra
bed to a room). Extra bed is inclusive of light breakfast.
Rate
Terms: All rates are net per room per night, commissionable,
based on single or double (twin) occupancy. Rates include a light
breakfast only and exclude applicable taxes. Full breakfasts are
normally charged (see below) and meal rates defined exclude soft
drinks, beer and alcoholic beverages. Should there be any change
in government tax during this contracting period, the resort reserves
the right to adjust the contract rates accordingly to reflect
the change. The above rates are subject to space availability.
Group rates are available upon request and depend upon space
availability.

Environmental Considerations
ForestFloorLodge
is situated well away from power lines, and we are obliged to
run a diesel generator to produce electricity (220 v., 50 Hz);
this inevitably has a significant "carbon footprint".
In order to reduce environmental impact, especially during the
cooler seasons, we normally turn off the generator during the
following times:
- Day:
08:30 to 13:00
- Night:
23:30 to 06:00
- Clients
are provided with strong, re-chargeable lanterns overnight,
for each unit.
However,
should anybody request that mains electricity be provided during
these periods, we will of course turn the generator on.
Children
-
Baby cot for child under 2 years is free of charge (advance
notice required).
- Children
below 11 years old stay free of charge in the room sharing with
parents in existing bed.
- Maximum
1 child sharing room with their parents is permitted.
- Breakfast
for children from 2 to 11 years old sharing room with their
parents are charged at 50% discount on all meal rates.
